A plastics company had been with the same bank for over 30 years and not only had an overdraft, but also a factoring facility with their current provider pressurising them to reduce the overdraft and rely solely on the factoring facility. In addition the directors wanted to handle the credit control and had become increasingly frustrated with the banks attitude; so Alliance put together a disclosed invoice discounting facility allowing the directors the chance to undertake the credit control, but we also provided an advance of 95% to allow them to clear the overdraft and create additional working capital.
